TEHRAN, Iran, June 21
Trend:
The State Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties in Iran has succeeded to obtain $2.1 billion worth of unsettled bank claims in the last Iranian year (started March 20,2020), said first deputy of judiciary Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The Judiciary has helped the Central Bank of Iran , it has managed to solve the issues of all illegal credit institutions. The Judiciary helped banks to obtain their unsettled claims," he said.
"One of the serious voids in connection to foreign currency is lack of precise statistics, these organizations were not aware of volume of received foreign currency revenues," he said.
"Eventually, the Judiciary faced some 18,000 individuals, with a $19-billion debt," said Mohseni-Ejei.
"We followed up on the issue - around $10 billion worth of debts belonged to companies related to ministries that were not paid," he said.
