Decisions to be taken at the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit will directly impact the Georgia's European future and the current state of EU-Georgia relations, the Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze said.

The Eastern Partnership Conference, "Towards a European Community of Democracy, Prosperity and a Stronger Civil Society," will be held in Warsaw on Sept. 29-30.
Bakradze named this summit a "significant event."

"The summit is a very important forum for us because Georgia is a member of the Eastern Partnership," Bakradze said in an interview with Georgian television.

He expressed hope that Summit decisions will be positive and reinforce the process of European integration of Eastern Partnership member countries, including Georgia.

"EU-Georgia relations are at a very critical phase. Today, our main task is negotiating the association agreement and free trade. These are the two main areas which will continue to bring Georgia together with the European Union," he said.
Bakradze is on a visit to Poland to attend the event.
