Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) will hold public consultation meetings on the environmental impact report for rehabilitation of 23-km long Zestaponi-Kutaisi and 51-km long Gori- Kareli sections of the high pressure gas pipeline, GOGC reported.
"Rehabilitation of the Zestaponi-Kutaisi and Gori- Kareli sections of the Main Gas Pipeline is part of the East-West Gas Pipeline Rehabilitation Project Phase IV, prepared for the implementation under the Power and Gas Infrastructure Program (funded by the USAID)," the Corporation said.
Public consultation meeting concerning the Zestaponi-Kutaisi section of the pipeline will be held in the building of the Bagdati Municipality self-governance unit on Sept.3, in Zestaponi on Sept.4 and in the Terjola Municipality on Sept.5.
Public Consultations on the environmental impact report for the rehabilitation of the Gori-Kareli section will be held in the Khasuri Municipality self-governance unit on Sept.6, in Kareli on Sept.7, 2012 and in the Municipality of Gori on Sept.10.
