Georgian Prosecutor Office arrested the former deputy interior minister, now Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi Shota Khizanishvili and deputy head of Interior Ministry's Department of Constitutional Security Vazha Liluashvili.
Shota Khizanishvili accused of abuse of power under Article 333, which carries imprisonment from 5 to 7 years, lawyers of the detained told journalists.
Vazha Liluashvili is charged under Article 159 - illegal listening to telephone conversations, which carries imprisonment to 3 years.
The lawyers didn't specify other details.
