Yemeni army said Monday it killed 10 Shiite rebels and arrested five others in separate clashes in northern Yemen, the ruling People's Congress Party reported on its website.
According to unidentified local sources, 10 rebels have been killed in clashes in Saada province amid continued attacks by the army, while military choppers were seen hovering over several areas of the north Yemeni province, Xinhua reported.
Meanwhile, security authorities said two Houthi rebels were arrested in the clashes, and three others arrested while attempting to infiltrate into Saudi territories.
