The programme of the presidency of the Republic of Moldova in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2009 will be presented in the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk on January 30, BelTA learnt in the CIS Executive Committee.
Since January 1, 2009 Moldova has presided at the CIS Council of the Heads of State, the CIS Council of the Heads of Government, the CIS Ministerial Council, the CIS Economic Council, the Council of the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member States in Charter and other Bodies, the Commission for Economic Issues of the CIS Economic Council.
During a meeting with the leadership of the CIS Executive Committee, permanent plenipotentiary representatives and ambassadors of the CIS countries, heads of the permanent commissions of the Belarusian National Assembly and the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador at Large of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Efim Kilar will tell about the priority avenues of the activity of the presiding country and about the concrete measures foreseen by the programme of its presidency in the CIS.
