President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak will visit New Zealand on March 3 and 4, Prime Minister John Key announced on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
The visit would provide an opportunity to discuss and strengthen the economic links between the two countries, Key said.
South Korea is New Zealand's sixth largest export market, with total bilateral trade worth around 2.5 billion NZ dollars (1.3 billion U.S. dollars) a year.
During the visit, the South Korean president will meet Key and Governor-General Anand Satyanand.
He will also speak at a New Zealand-Korea economic forum.
