(ForUm) - President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko plans to address the Korean parliament with a call to recognize Holodomor in Ukraine as genocide against the Ukrainian people. Yushchenko told journalists Monday in Seoul, reports Trend.
Yushchenko said that during today's talks with Korean President he touched upon the question on Korea's support of Holodomor recognition on the 63th UN session, scheduled for the next year.
According to the President, during his tomorrow speech in the Korean parliament, he will address the deputies with the request to recognize Holodomor as genocide.
