Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will travel to Iraq in January in order to hold talks with Iraqi officials following the establishment of the new government, the sources said.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday that following Davutoglu's trip to Iraq, he hoped to visit to Iraq personally accompanied by a big delegation soon.
Iraq's parliament approved last week Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and his government, following a nine-month delay after the general elections.
