Russia has no right to dictate terms Turkey - PM

Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec.8

By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Russia has no right to dictate terms to Turkey, Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu said, TRT Haber TV channel reported Dec. 8.

Turkey does not want to spoil relations with Russia, but we should not forget that we are on guard of our borders, said Davutoglu.

Turkey hopes for a change in the position of this country, he said.

Turkish Air Forces shot down Russian jet "SU-24" in its airspace Nov.24. After that relations between the two countries have deteriorated significantly.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavushoglu previously called the Russian Federation to a political dialogue for resolving the crisis between the two countries.

Turkey may lose for more than nine billion dollars by the economic sanctions of Russia, Deputy PM Mehmet Simsek said earlier.
