In October 2019, 25.2 million tons of crude oil were transported through the ports of Turkey. Trend reports with referring to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey.
During this period, the volume of crude oil transshipment by vessels flying the flag of Turkey amounted to 2 million tons.
“During this period, 1.5 million tons of crude oil were shipped through Turkish ports by vessels flying their country's flag and 21.5 million tons of crude oil were shipped by vessels flying the flag of other countries,” the Ministry said.
During this period, volumes of crude oil transit through the ports of Turkey amounted to 25.2 million tons.
In October, the most transit cargo through the ports of Turkey was transported from Italy, China, Spain, Ukraine, Russia, India, Georgia, Romania, Egypt and Greece.
In October 2019, the volumes of transit transshipment from Italy through the ports of Turkey amounted to 33.4 million tons.
China has the second largest transit through Turkish ports with a total volume of 2.3 million tons.
Spain ranks third in this indicator from 2 million tons.
In October 2019, transit transportation with a total volume of 1.8 million tons was carried out from Ukraine through the ports of Turkey, from Russia -1.8 million tons, from India -1.7 million tons, from Georgia - 1.7 million tons.
In October 2019, transit transport with a total volume of 1.446 million tons was carried out from Romania through the ports of Turkey, 1.3 million tons from Egypt, and 1.3 million tons from Greece.
In October 2019, the total volume of transit transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to 64.4 million tons.
