BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met in the United States, Trend reports.
The meeting took place within the framework of the NATO summit of heads of state and government taking place in Washington.
The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Greece, as well as regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan drew attention to his country's efforts to develop a spirit of solidarity with Greece based on the principle of good neighborliness and stated that they will be continued.
Regarding conflicts in the region, the Turkish President emphasized the need to step up efforts to end these conflicts and ensure peace in the region.
