Georgia wants to withdraw Russian tanks from the country and receive as many as possible Russian tourists, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said during his speech at the International Economic Forum of Young Leaders, held in Poland.

Saakashvili said everybody thought that without Russia, Georgia would get into a very difficult situation because 90 percent of the country's energy depended on Russia.

"But today we are already an exporting country. They imposed an embargo on us, but we found other ways and improved the quality of our products, began to diversify markets. People have moved away from Soviet thinking," Saakashvili said.

Saakashvili attends the International Economic Forum of Young Leaders, which takes place in Poland.
Today in the afternoon, Saakashvili will travel to Krynica, where he will also attend World Economic Forum. It is attended by 300 leaders from 50 countries worldwide.

In Krynica, Saakashvili will hold several bilateral meetings, including with the Prime Ministers Donald Tusk of Poland and Vlad Filat of Moldova.

Main objective of the Forum in Krynica is to define help to the weak EU countries to maintain stability, said the Presidential Administration.
