President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan has arrived in Istanbul, Anadolu Agency reported.
He is set to attend the tripartite summit of Turkey-Afghanistan-Pakistan in Istanbul on Monday together with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan.
President Karzai and President Zardari will also partake in a dinner to be hosted in their honor by President Gul later on Sunday night.
