Number of people infected with A/H1N1 has reached 391 in Iran, including 4 fatalities, spokesman the Iranian Health Ministry, Abbas Zareinizhad, said. 

Number of people infected with A/H1N1 reached 34 in last week. A 36-year-old drug-addicted woman, 96-year-old man, whose treatment was futile, and 2 babies, died as a result.

The Center for Infectious Disease under the Iranian Health ministry expects new splash of diseases with the beginning of cold weather. The Center calls the people to avoid visits abroad and follow rules of personal hygiene.

According to the İrna news agency, the first case of swine flu infection in Iran was recorded on July.14.

The main symptoms of the A/H1N1 are fever, sore throat, cough and in some cases diarrhea.
