Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. I. Alizadeh/ As official informative sources of the Kremlin says, Boris Yeltsin, Russia's first President has passed away today, on 23 April, Trend reports referring to Russian media sources, quoting official information sources of the Kremlin.
According to the reports, the cause of death of the 77-year old Russian Ex-President was sudden cardiac arrest. Playing a key role in the collapse of U.S.S.R., Yeltsin was elected President of the Russian Federation in 1991. After his health worsened in 2000, the existing Russian President, Vladimir Putin, took over from him as President of Russia.
