Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Holding a demonstration in Bibiheybat square offered by the Baku City Executive Power to the Committee for Protection of Human Rights is impossible, the square is unfit, said the Chairman of the Committee, Eldar Namazov.
The Committee planned to hold a demonstration for the protection of human rights on Ukraine square on 8 December. However, Baku City Executive Power did not give permission to hold a demonstration in this address and in exchange, suggested Bibiheybat stadium of Neftchi sport center in Baku's district of Sabayl. The reasons of refusal were not described in the letter.
According to Namazov, 15 organizers of the demonstrations looked through the stadium. No public transport means go to the stadium and the internal part of the stadium presents bogs, the roads have destroyed, he said. According to him, the demonstration was postponed due to the unfitness of this place.
Namazov said that tomorrow they will make other appeal to Baku City Executive Power and they will describe Ukraine square. An appeal will be made to court about Baku City Executive Power.
