"The outcome of the regular parliament elections in Iran will not affect the foreign policy of the government, regarding the nuclear plans," Pirouz Mojtahedzadeh, the chairman of British Reserach Fund Urosevic said Trend .
On 14 March, the parliament elections were held in Iran. The coalition Usulgara, which supports the current government, won the elections- gaining 71% of the seats in the parliament, Interior Ministry of Iran said on 17 March.
"Iran's nuclear plans do not depend upon the Parliament directly," Mojtahedzadeh, the member of Iran's geopolitical organization said from London on 18 March. According to the expert, different organizations take the decision on this issue like this: "Official Tehran pursues its previuos policy regarding nuclear plans".
The Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad earlier condemned the next resolution of the UN Security Council on the Iran's nuclear plan and said that he did not plan to discuss it with EU Commissar on Foreign Policy Havier Solana. The Speaker of Iranian parliament Golamhossein Elham said a day before that Iran will not discuss this issue with any organization but IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).
Mojtahedzadeh said that Iran has already been prepared to hold talks on the uranium enrichment with the international organizations and other countries. "Iran can hold discussions on its nuclear plans with European Union, UN permanent members,however it will depend on the core of the programs introduced to the counrty. The attempts to stop uranium enrichment activities of official Tehran will yield no results. Iran will never agree with it," the Iranian political scientist said.
