The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has issued a Turkmen-language multimedia program for individuals learning how to use the computer, a UNDP press release said.
The UNDP recently issued 2,000 copies of a CD to help individuals teach themselves how to better use the computer. The CD consists of 8 sections and will be distributed at all Turkmen schools, ministries and governmental organs.
The program is part of the IT Dissemination in Turkmenistan Project (InfoTuk). The UN and Turkmen Education Ministry have implemented InfoTuk since 2005. Local computer centers have opened under InfoTuk in Ashgabat, Mar, Turkmenabat, Turkmenbashi, Balkanabat, Serdar, Tejen and Dashoguz.
