"Gratifying that at the winter session of PACE it was a lot of positive opinions about October last year presidential elections in Azerbaijan in October.

As is well known at the first meeting of the PACE the work of the authority carried out during the past 6 months was discussed.

As a result of the election chairman of the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan", the current President Ilham Aliyev won, by the largest number of votes - 88.73 percent.
