Azeri parliamentary delegation off Vena

The Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Vice-Speaker Bahar Muradova will leave for Vena on Wednesday, the press service of the Milli Majlis [Parliament] told Trend.

The goal of the visit is to participate in the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO. MPs will discuss the issues of security, protection of environment, development of democracy. The Azerbaijani mission will also spread a statement on the next date of the Khojaly genocide.

The Azerbaijani delegation includes Eldar Ibrahimov, the chairman of the permanent commission on agrarian policy, Rabiyat Aslanova, the chairman of the permanent commission on human rights, Fattah Heydarov, the deputy chairman of the permanent commission on regional issues. The delegation will return to Baku on 26 Februry.
