BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. Slovak company Proma, working for 33 years in the construction industry of Europe and CIS countries, wants to develop business in Azerbaijan, CEO of Proma Ján Majerský told Trend.
“Our company specializes in the design of civil and industrial facilities and the use of digital technologies. We would like to cooperate with Azerbaijani design and construction companies on the joint development of projects and their realization in Azerbaijan and European countries,” Majerský noted.
According to him, the company had a small experience working in Azerbaijan 15 years ago (designing a residential building).
“Working in Azerbaijan is attractive because of the favorable business climate and tax benefits. We are ready to establish a joint venture with interested companies engaged in industrial construction. Proma has experience in the implementation of turnkey projects and is even ready to invest in such projects with the help of the Export-Import Bank of Slovakia (Eximbank), which will ensure such investments,” the head of Proma said.
He named construction companies VN Group and SMTS LLC among their promising partners in Azerbaijan.
