Azerbaijan buys weapons to provide military training to teens

Modern weaponry was purchased in Azerbaijan to provide teenagers with military training, Chairman of the National Council of the Voluntary Military and Patriotic Sports and Technical Society, Maj. Gen. Novruzali Orujov told Trend on Wednesday.
Orujov said young people continue to train using this equipment.
"We are also organizing skydiving to increase courage and bravery," Orujov said.
Sniper courses will open in late March, he said. Orujov stressed that more than 200 young people and teenagers have already asked to attend the courses.
"The sniper courses have caused a great interest. Parents want their children to participate," he said.
Orujov added that Dragunov rifles will mainly be used during the sniper courses.
"We will also hold exercises with the Istiglal gun, which is produced in Azerbaijan," he said.
