Around 17 percent of the total population received the coronavirus vaccine in the European region, Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, told Trend.
According to Kluge, the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Europe is insufficient to protect the population from a new wave of the pandemic.
