AFFA Has Reached Agreement on Date of Holding Friendly Match With Ireland

AFFA has reached an agreement on the date of holding a friendly match with Ireland which will be held on August 5, 2006 in Dublin.

The selection to play with Britishers from July 25 to August 5 was held in the collective, the chief trainer of the national team Shahin Dniyev informed Trend. In result, we decided to play with Irish football-players at the beginning of the final month of the year, told Diniyev noting that the second qualified phase of the match of the League champions will begin in July. If our champion goes up to that stadium, will not be able to use the service of several football-players, stressed Diniyev.

The team will play with the representatives of Emerald Island and Ukraine in Kiev (August 16).
