Some 459.7 million manats ($270 million) will be allocated from the state budget of Azerbaijan for melioration work, Trend reports referring to the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for 2022.
According to the draft state budget, this figure is 13.3 percent higher than in 2021.
In addition, extra-budgetary expenditures of organizations financed from the agricultural expenditures section of the state budget for 2022 will amount to 12.6 million manats ($7.4 million), which is 14.8 percent or 1.6 million manats ($941,453) more than in 2021.
It is noted that expenditures for the medium-term strategic plan for the agricultural sector include 15 subprograms and 37 activities to achieve these goals. To track the implementation of these programs, assess their effectiveness and efficiency, 242 monitoring indicators were identified.
