The Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Development Fund provided loans worth 2.7 million manat ($1.6 million) to young businessmen in 2021, Trend reports citing the fund.
According to the fund, the financing of projects will create 97 new jobs.
Last year, soft loans worth 130.6 million manat ($76.8 million) were provided to finance 1,902 projects with a total value of 287.7 million manat ($169.2 million), within which it’s planned to create 3,213 new jobs.
Some 60.4 million manat ($35.5 million), or 46 percent accounted for small and medium loans in 2021.
