The Social Development Fund for Internally Displaced Persons of Azerbaijan and Akkord General Construction LLC signed a contract worth over 3.22 million manat ($1.89 million), Trend reports citing the ‘Electronic Procurement’ portal.
According to the data, the winner of the tender announced by the fund for the construction of a 9-storey 54-apartment residential building #12 in the territory of the Khojasan village in a new residential area with the necessary social and technical infrastructure for 810 families of IDPs has been determined.
According to the decision of the tender commission, Akkord General Construction LLC was selected as the winner of the tender, the portal said.
The Social Development Fund for Internally Displaced Persons was established in 1999 and its main goal is to implement measures for improving the living conditions of IDPs, open jobs for them, as well as allocate funds for the implementation of micro-projects aimed mainly at restoring social infrastructure.
