Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 5 / Trend corr N.Kirtzkhalia / In December, the National Bank of Georgia held a survey in local and foreign companies to forecast separate articles of the tax balance. The survey envisaged to gather the data on expected moves of the frequent foreign capital.
Presently, 119 companies partook in the survey. According to the provisional data of the survey, in 2009, Georgia will get investments in the amount of $1.74mln. The current number exceeds the existing index that was forecasted before the survey. The leading countries on investments to Georgia in 2009 are the United Arab Emirates, the United States, China, the Great Britain, Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.
According to the tentative data, Georgia will get $815mln as foreign investments and $33mln as portfolio investments. The size of joint loans and other funds is expected to reach $1bln.
