The meeting of coordinators of the Azerbaijani State Real Property Service and World Bank on the Registration of Real Property project was held.
Azerbaijani State Real Property Service Chairman Arif Garashov headed the meeting. The meeting analyzed bank mission's recommendations. The mission visited Baku in November 2008.
Garashov delivered proposals and recommendations to implement project's components.
In July 2007, the Azerbaijani Government and the World Bank signed an agreement on the joint introduction of the single cadastre of real property system. The project consists of four components; including registration of real property, governance and register of state property; basis cartography and land cadastre; trainings, policy forming and management of projects. Project's cost is $38.57 million, out of which $30 million accounts for WB. Credit resources were allocated for 20 years period for five privileged years.
