All major joint projects between Kazakhstan and China need support from the two countries' parliaments at the legislative level, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at Ak Orda Presidential Palace during the meeting with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the All-China Assembly of People's Representatives Wu Bangguo.
According to Nazarbayev, the economic and trade relations between Kazakhstan and China are at the highest level.
" Chinese companies are active in the oil and gas sector of the country," Nazarbayev said. " We have built unique gas and oil pipelines to China."
Nazarbayev noted that China strongly supported Kazakhstan during the crisis by lending loan.
Nazarbayev said o ver the past years the cooperation between Kazakhstan and China has expanded both in political and economic life of both countries .
