Turkey's industrial production index (IPI) increased by 4.4 percent in Feb. 2013 and hit 112 points compared to the same month in 2012, the Turkish Statistics Institute said in a report posted on its website today.
In Feb., the IPI increased by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month.
In Feb., the Turkish IPI increased in mining by 3.2 percent, processing - by 7 percent, production and distribution - by 7.2 percent.
The highest rate of the index was observed in the energy sector. In Feb., it increased by 8 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
