Georgia, Tbilisi, April 29 / Trend, N. Kirtzkhalia /
We do not expect the investment relations with Kazakhstan to deteriorate because of the problems in connection with "KazTransGas-Tbilisi", Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili told the media today.
He said that at present, the Economy Ministry and the Finance Ministry are working together to return Kazakh management to "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" and the problem will be solved.
Kazakh diplomat Adil Tursunov said that after the "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" was seized, Kazakh investors have lost interest in Georgia.
An interim manager was appointed in the company in 2009 to withdraw the accumulated debt worth $ 80 million.
Kvirikashvili added that the situation with "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" will not affect the economic relations between the two countries, especially when the matter rests in the country, which is a significant investor.
