Economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Indonesia is great, Husnan Bey Fanani, Indonesian ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Trend.
The ambassador said that the countries have potential in cooperation in such fields as energy, tourism, business education, agriculture and so on.
He stressed that Indonesia mainly exports to Azerbaijan coffee, wood, furniture etc., adding that it would be great to enlarge the list of exported products.
Fanani noted that Azerbaijan is the second largest trading partner of Indonesia.
According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, trade turnover with India in January-November 2018 amounted to $581.3 million.
As compared to the indicator for the same period of the last year, the trade turnover between the countries increased by 22.6 percent, while the exports of Azerbaijani products increased 1.3 times.
