In January-June 2019, 26 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey, which is four companies more compared to January-June 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Turkey in January-June 2019 amounted to 4.845 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018, this figure was 3.501 million Turkish liras.
In the first half of 2019, most of Turkmen companies were registered in Istanbul city (22 companies), and their total capital amounted to 3.721 million Turkish liras.
During the reporting period, two companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Antalya province, one company in Bursa province and one company in Edirne province.
In January-June 2019, two industrial companies, one construction company, 14 wholesale and retail companies, two tourism companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey. Seven companies with Turkmen capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The TOBB noted that the total capital of 14 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to 2.270 million liras.
