According to the results of exchange trading on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) from Nov. 11 to 17, 2019, different price dynamics were observed in various commodity segments of the exchange market, Trend reports citing UZEX.
For the period under review, 3,572 tons of RON-91 gasoline were put up for exchange trading at UZEX, of which 3,090 tons were sold. Exchange quotation for RON-91 gasoline decreased by 0.2 percent compared to the previous week and amounted to $657.3 per ton.
There was a slight change in the precious metals market. As a result of weekly trading at the UZEX, 1,000 grams of Au-1 gold were sold for $47,000. The stock quote amounted to $49 per 1 gram of gold, with a decrease of 1.5 percent compared to the latest trading results.
Last week, liquefied gas producers sold 4,568 tons of liquefied natural gas totaling $1.3 million. The exchange price of liquefied gas increased by 11.7 percent and amounted to $305.8 per ton.
Demand has increased in the black metal market. The price of ST 12-35 GS fittings increased by 1.5 percent and amounted to $600.3 per ton. The total sales volume of all types of ferrous metal amounted to 7,300 tons.
The cement market was also showing slight growth. The weekly quotation for cement grade PC M-400 D-20 was fixed at $58.6 per ton, which is 3.8 percent more than a week earlier. The price range of other running brands of cement (in bags) averages between $48.5 and $79 per ton.
There is a high demand for cotton fiber on the exchange. The quotation for cotton fiber of the 1st grade, 4th type last week increased by 1.4 percent and amounted to $1,571 per ton. The price of other fiber varieties of the 2019 crop varied on average from $738 to $1,370 per ton.
The exchange price for the F-0120 brand of polyethylene last week amounted to $1,244 per ton, with a decrease of 0.9 percent. The total sales volume of polyethylene on the exchange amounted to 1,800 tons.
Last week, there was a decrease in prices on the urea market. The exchange quotation for urea “A” decreased by 0.6 percent and amounted to $187.4 per ton. In general, about 30,400 tons of mineral fertilizers were sold through exchange trading over the week.
