Iran exports $700B worth of products to China

Last year China imported more than $ 700 billion worth of goods from Iran, Iranian minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani said, Trend reports citing ILNA.

"The production boom, which has been noted this year by the Supreme Leader, requires boosting exports and expanding the country's export markets," said the minister.

"We have some structural and infrastructure obstacles for development of exports," he said. "We have to address all of them properly."

He went on to add that EEU is a good opportunity for Iran to to expand its export capacity for the Caspian Sea, as well as Ardebil and East and West Azarbaijan provinces.

Rahmani said that development of trade and exports to 15 neighboring countries today is a priority for the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade and the government as a whole.

Rahmani noted that the process of economic and trade cooperation with other countries is currently under serious scrutiny at the level of the ministry and government.
