BrotMaster and Ala Estate industrial parks in Kazakhstan’s Almaty city are planning to expand their production facilities, a representative of Almaty Industrial Zone told Trend.

The official said that currently, a total of three industrial parks operate in Almaty. Two of them (BrotMaster and Ala Estate) are in Nauryzbay district, and one (Samruk Group) is in Turksubskiy district.

“The overall operated production facilities of the parks occupy 8,900 square meters, of which 2,200 square meters account for BrotMaster, 1,000 square meters for Ala Estate, and the rest of the territory accounts for Samruk Group,” the official said.

Additionally, this year, BrotMaster and Ala Estate are planning to put into operation additional 3,000 square meters of production facilities each.

In turn, Samruk Group is planning the construction of small premises of 250 square meters and a large area of production facilities between 3,000 and 4,000 square meters.

Currently, BrotMaster industrial park includes 6 tenants for the production of drinks, and coffee roasting, Ala Estate includes 2 tenants for the production of furniture and haberdashery, whereas Samruk Group includes 16 tenants for the production of building materials, paper products, and disinfectants.

Earlier this month, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Trade and Infrastructural Development said that a total of six smaller industrial parks will be commissioned in the Almaty Industrial Zone in Kazakhstan in 2020.

The overall industrial area of the parks will be 28,000 square meters, where about 70 industrial ventures will be set up. A total of over 700 new jobs will be created as a result of the parks' creation.
