Investors will enjoy an expanded amount of areas in industrial parks of Iran's Semnan Province (northern Iran), as the overall the areas increased by 2.3 times in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020), Chairman of the Semnan Province Industrial Parks Organization Hassan Al Bouyeh told journalists, Trend reports citing the IRNA.
Al Bouyeh noted that more than 222 hectares of land in the industrial parks of the province were handed over to the investors last year, under 419 various contracts.
This is while in the preceding year 246 contracts were signed (for 103 hectares of land).
There are 18 industrial parks in Iran's Semnan Province. These industrial parks are located in about 6,880 hectares of land. About 90 percent of the manufacturing enterprises in the industrial parks are small industries, 6 percent - medium-sized industries, and the rest - large industries.
