Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat Chemical Plant exceeds production plan

Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov manufactured products worth 55.8 million Turkmen manat ($15.9 million) from January through July 2021, exceeding the production plan by 6.6 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

Some 151,480 tons of phosphorus fertilizers were produced by the plant during the reporting period, which exceeds the plan by 30 percent.

The plant manufactured and sent 307 tons of bleach to consumers also from January through July 2021.

Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov produced more than 25,000 tons of phosphorus fertilizers in the first two months of 2021.

During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on January 14, 2021, it was announced that it is planned to establish the production of fine-ground sulfur with an annual capacity of at least 20,000 tons on the basis of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant.
