The Azerbaijan Finance Ministry has announced a new tender on printing excise marks for alcohol and tobacco production made in Azerbaijan and imported to the Country from abroad.
The tender will be held on 19 December, 2006, Trend reports referring to the Finance Ministry.
Since 2001 and up to this year, the Ukrainian Polygrapic Plant has printed excise marks on behalf of the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry. But starting from this year, the provider will be determined on the basis of a tender. These two companies have fulfilled all the orders given by the Finance Ministry.
Within the new tender, excise marks for 50 mln. beer bottles, 15 mln. bottles of alcoholic production, as well as for 500 mln. cigarettes produced in the Country are expected to be printed for Azerbaijan.
In accordance with the terms of the tender, candidates must meet all international standards. Applicants should have at least five years experience in the printing of excise marks and manufacturing to international standards. Applicants who are engaged in intermediate activity or have no technical material experience are not allowed to participate in the tender. The forthcoming tender will be held in accordance with the Bill of Azerbaijan Republic On State Purchasing.
