New head for the Baku Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been appointed. Aygen Yayikoglu will replace Raymond Konway in this post. The announcement was made during the meeting of the EBRD with Elman Rustamov, the chairman of the Managing Board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
Attending the gathering were the EBRD Director for South and East Europe, Olivie Descamps, an adviser of the EBRD President on Political Issues, Mahir Babayev, the EBRD Director for Azerbaijan, Michael Davi, and the head of the Baku Office, Raymond Konway.
The meeting focused on reforms held in Azerbaijan in the sphere of macroeconomic stability, economic development, banking sector, as well as perspectives of development of cooperation with the EBRD.
