From January, 2006 through November, 2006, a total of 25,465 passenger cars were imported to Azerbaijan, Trend reports, According to the data from the State Statistics Committee, the total cost of all the passenger cars delivered to the country in this period reached $164 mln. 878,300.
In the reporting period, the Country imported 0,6% passenger cars more versus the corresponding period of 2005. However, the total value of the cars delivered to the country in 2006 year exceeds the last year by 36,4%.
January-November, 2006, totally 6,398 lorries at the total cost of $64 mln. 458,800 were delivered to the country. The number of the cars imported to the country over the eleven months of 2006 is 1,3 less against the corresponding indicator of the last year. However, this year indicator exceeds the last year one in its value by 61,4%.
January-October, 2006, Azerbaijan imported 318 buses at the cost of $6 mln. 511,000. The number of the cars imported into the country over the eleven months of the year is 10,9% less versus the corresponding last year indicator. However, their cost is 32,9% less versus the last year.
