Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr A. Ismayilova, V. Sharifov / Foreign companies' offices located in the Landmark business centre in the centre of Baku were temporary shut down due to security issues in the morning of 29 October.
According to the UK Embassy in Azerbaijan, the foreign companies are currently negotiating with Azerbaijani authorities.
"It is not known yet whether the offices will be open tomorrow," a source at the Embassy said.
Operation of BP Azerbaijan's large department located in Landmark, as well as StatoilHydro Baku office was also suspended.
US Embassy in Azerbaijan also suspended its activities in Azerbaijan on 29 October, which was also caused by security issues.
