Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. V.Sharifov / Karasu Operating Company launched development of the Work Program and Budget for 2008.
The company develops the Mishovdag and Kelameddin fields onshore in Azerbaijan.
The development of the Program to be completed by the end of November 2007.
"Today it is difficult to say what would be included into the work program, what number of wells to be drilled and other plans. Everything to be clarified after the program to be developed and approved by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR)," the company's representative said.
The plans of the company for 2007 were included drill of exploration wells in Mishovdag field, as well as drill of some appraisal wells. The average depth of exploration wells was about 1,500 metre.
The Mishovdag-Kalamatdin field development contract was signed on 12 October 2000.The participants of the project are the Nations Energy - 85%, SOCAR - 15%.
