The Turkish Ozguclu Energy has shown an interest in the construction of the Merisi hydroelectric power plant on the river of Akavreta in Adjara.
It is included in the list of alternative energy sources at the Georgian Energy and Natural Resources Ministry.
The company has already filed an application for the construction, ownership and operation of hydroelectric power plants.
The poll of interest will be completed on July 27, the ministry said.
