An agreement was signed between railway departments of Georgia and Ukraine, under which the sides will help each other in an exchange of carriages and tanks, Georgian Railways told Trend on Monday.
Based on the agreement, the Ukrainian side should transfer about 1,000 tanks to the Georgian side, while the Georgian side, in turn, will transfer the same amount of gondola cars for dry cargo to the Ukrainian side.
The first 200 Ukrainian tanks are involved in transportation of oil and oil products to Georgia for more than two months.
