In June production of oil products reduced in Turkey

In June 2013 the production of gasoline and diesel in Turkey reduced by 22 per cent compared to previous month and constituted 1.1 million tonnes.

In June 2013 the production of gasoline and diesel in Turkey reduced by 22 per cent compared to previous month and constituted 1.1 million tonnes, Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) reported on its official website on Wednesday.

According to the report data, production of oil products in Turkey for the reporting period reduced by 3.6 per cent and constituted 1.9 million tonnes.

In January-June compared to the same period of 2012 production of oil products in Turkey decreased by 2 per cent and constituted 10.1 million tonnes.

By June 2013 gasoline consumtion in Turkey increased by 5 per cent, and constituted 166,900 tonnes compared to previous month. Diesel consumption in June reduced by 0.5 per cent, and constituted 1.5 million tonnes.

In January-June gasoline consumption increased by 0.3 per cent, and constituted 868,000 tonnes, diesel- by 7.5 per cent, and constituted 7.8 million tonnes.

In June the average gasoline price in Turkey increased by 1.9 per cent in comparison with previous month and constituted 4.72 lira for litr. Diesel price increased by 2.5 per cent, and constituted 4.17 lira for litr.

Official rate for August 28 is 2.0225 TRY/USD.
