The Iranian Oil Terminals Company’s (IOTC) marine operations specialists repaired Iran’s Hafte-Tir tugboat, according to the company’s CEO Abbas Asadrouz, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
According to him, the tugboat has been repaired using domestically manufactured equipment, which helped save $1 million which would have otherwise been spent on repairing the tugboat elsewhere.
"The goal is to create a space for the repair of vessels in [Iran’s] Kharg Island so as to ensure that no additional vessels are sent abroad for repairs," he said.
