Turkmenistan exported 2.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China in July 2021, Trend reports with reference to the ORIENT information portal.
According to the information, the price of Turkmen natural gas for China in July amounted to $238 per thousand cubic meters.
It is reported that in July, Turkmenistan exported 2.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China, which is many times higher than the supply of other countries, thereby remaining the leader in the supply of blue fuel to China through the gas pipeline.
In particular, Russia exported 888 million cubic meters of gas to China in July, Kazakhstan - 302 million cubic meters, Uzbekistan - 572 million cubic meters, Myanmar - 335 million cubic meters. In total, China imported 4.868 billion cubic meters of natural gas in July.
It was noted that the most expensive for China in July was natural gas from Myanmar ($362 per thousand cubic meters). The cheapest price for China was Russian gas, which cost $171 per 1,000 cubic meters in July.
Earlier it was reported that from January to August 2021, Turkmenistan increased the supply of natural gas abroad by 37 percent compared to the same period last year.
